South Carroll 3, Liberty 0: The host Cavaliers beat the Lions, South Carroll won, 25-9, 25-21, 25-13. The Cavaliers were led by Kaelyn Bowyer (18 serves, 4 aces), Elaina Murphy (16 kills), Pia White (33 assists, 4 aces).
Marriotts Ridge 3, Glen Burnie 0: The visiting Mustangs beat the Gophers. Marriotts Ridge won, 25-12, 25-16, 25-4. The Mustangs were led by Ella Miller 6 kills), Eva Hull (18 assists, 6 digs), Katy Harbaugh (6 kills), Kelly Swenson (8 kills), Grace Lei (5 aces, 10 digs) and CIndy Yu (3 aces).
South River 3, Mt. Hebron 0: The host Seahawks beat the Vikings. South River won, 25-19 , 25-23, 25-19. Severn 4, Mercy 1: The host Admirals (9-4-2, 5-3-1 IAAM B Conference) beat the Magic (2-7-3, 1-6-2). Josie Elion scored twice and Sadie Elion had a goal and two assists for Severn. Thursday, Mercy travels to McDonogh.
St. Mary’s 3, McDonogh 0: Ava Boland scored twice and Jayci Fredrerick had a goal and the Saints (10-4-1,9-0 IAAM B Conference) shut out the Eagles (7-6-2, 1-5-2). Thursday, St. Mary’s hosts Roland Park.
Girls soccer
Severn 4, St. Mary’s 1: Nia Hudson scored two goals to lead the Admirals (8-3-3, 4-2-2 IAAM B Conference) over the Saints (5-7, 1-7). Anna Ervin had the only goal for St. Mary’s.
