Investigators asked the public for help Monday in identifying “multiple” suspects involved in a shooting late last year that left a man dead in an unincorporated area of Anaheim.
The incident occurred on Oct. 13, shortly after 10 p.m. on the 11500 block of Mossler Street where arriving deputies found the victim, identified as Jorge Sanchez Tapia with multiple gunshot wounds, the Orange County Sheriff’s Department stated on X.
The 50-year-old Tapia died as a result of his injuries, the Sheriff’s Department said.
The suspects fled the scene in what investigators described as a silver or gray-colored sedan.

An image of the vehicle was uploaded to the post to help in the search.
No information about the suspects, including exactly how many were involved, is available.
Anyone with additional information was asked to contact the Sheriff’s Department at 714-647-7000. Anonymous tips may be provided through O.C. Crime Stoppers at 855-TIP-OCCS.
