The City of West Hollywood has announced an initiative to help support local venues and businesses.

The program, “WeHappy Wednesdays,” will make parking free in city limits on Wednesdays between 4 p.m. and midnight for the entire month of April.

More specifically, the free parking will be valid at all parking meters, city-owned surface lots and city parking structures.

“This initiative removes a common barrier to visiting local establishments and encourages the community to rediscover favorite spots and explore new ones, all while directly supporting local businesses,” West Hollywood officials said in a statement. “Many local businesses are navigating economic challenges following the pandemic and the impact of recent wildfires [in addition to] a general trend of changing consumer habits compounding these challenges.”

“By eliminating parking fees for one evening each week in April, this initiative makes springtime outings more convenient and, in addition, fosters a sense of community and shared responsibility for West Hollywood’s ongoing success,” the statement continued.

More information on “WeHappy Wednesdays” can be found here. A list of businesses offering deals during April 2025 is available here.
