Police are asking the public for help in locating a 12-year-old girl who disappeared after leaving her school in Whittier.
Jennavecia A Orea has been missing since around 2:35 p.m. Monday, the Whittier Police Department posted on Instagram early Tuesday morning.
“She was last seen walking away from school, in the 6800 block of Norwalk Boulevard,” police said.
Jennavecia was described as a Hispanic female standing 5 feet 6 inches tall and weighing about 120 pounds with black hair and brown eyes.
She was last seen wearing a black hooded sweater, brown pants and black Nike shoes.
