Adulting is tough.
It consists of making major life decisions and balancing responsibilities, all while paying your bills, figuring out what to make for dinner, drinking half your weight in water and checking in with all your loved ones.
The trials and tribulations of adulthood are explored in FX’s upcoming original comedy series “Adults.” It’s being described as Gen-Z’s “New Girl” meets “Friends.” It follows “a crew of chaotic twenty-somethings just trying to figure out how to be ‘adults.'”
To celebrate the show’s launch, FX has turned The Laundry Room in Culver City into a house party for one day only, because what’s more adult than doing laundry?
From 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on May 20, The Laundry Room is turned into Suds and Sounds with a DJ spinning alongside your spin cycle. Guests can get an “Adults”-branded laundry card loaded with one free cycle.
While you’re waiting for your laundry, enjoy some coffee alongside free bodega snacks. Check out the vending machines stocked with a suprise and even get a one-card tarot card pull if you’re curious about your life’s path.

If you can’t make it during the day, don’t worry.
From 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., the lights are turned down and the music is turned up. The vending machines and Bodega snacks are still available, as a Polaroid photographer snaps your picture. Bar service is also available with cocktails, mocktails and beer.

Of course, there is dancing.
The Laundry Room in Culver City is located at 4400 S. Slauson Avenue.
FX’s “Adults” premieres May 28 at 9:00 p.m. on FX. All eight episodes will stream the next day on Hulu.
