Four people have died in a two-vehicle crash on the Newell Highway at Tomingley in western New South Wales.
Four people – two men, believed to be aged in their 20s, and an older man and woman – died at the scene of the crash that happened at around 9.20pm on Friday.
The victims were yet to be formally identified.
The male driver of one of the vehicles was taken to Dubbo hospital with suspected leg injuries.
A report will be prepared for the coroner. Police established a crime scene and were investigating.
The Newell highway was closed in both directions and motorists were advised to avoid the area.
