FOUR men have been arrested after a body was found at an address in a UK seaside town centre.
Police were scrambled to a property in the centre of Whitby, Yorkshire, last night, after receiving reports a man in his 40s had been found unresponsive.
Responding officers gave the man CPR while an ambulance was sent to the property but he tragically passed away at the scene.
His family have been informed and are being supported by specialist officers.
Four men have since been arrested in connection with the tragedy as cops launch a manslaughter probe.
A significant police presence remains in the area as the investigation continues.
Anyone with any information who has yet to speak to cops is urged to contact the force.
A spokesperson for North Yorkshire Police said: “Detectives at North Yorkshire Police have launched a manslaughter investigation and the man’s family is being supported by officers.
“Four men have been arrested in connection with the investigation while police establish the full circumstances surrounding the incident.
“This investigation remains ongoing and there is a significant police presence in the area to support the community.
“Detectives have already spoken to a number of witnesses but are urging anyone with information who has yet to speak to them to get in touch.”
