LOS ANGELES (KTLA) – The strongest rainstorm of the year has hit Southern California, prompting mud and debris flows as well as flash flood warnings for recent burn scars.
The National Weather Service has issued flash flood warnings for Eaton Fire ravaged Altadena, as well as the Palisades and the Franklin burn scars through 8 p.m. tonight.
“Heavy rain moving through Ventura County and into Los Angeles County, NWS said in a post to X. “Expect a rapid enhancement of rain and potentially strong winds, with significant road flooding, burn scar debris flows, and downed trees. Stay off roads.”
Additional areas under flash flood warnings include Los Angeles, Glendale and Santa Clarita.
