GLENDALE, Calif. (KTLA) – A duplex in Glendale went up in flames Monday afternoon.
Firefighters responded to the building on California Avenue near Adams Street shortly before 1 p.m. Intense flames and thick, black smoke were visible from miles away, according to Sky5 reporter Rich Prickett.
Firefighters took a defensive approach and did not enter the building; instead, they focused their efforts on protecting a neighboring home and apartment complex while extinguishing the blaze.
No injuries were reported. The cause of the fire was under investigation.
