FAIRFAX COUNTY, Va. (DC News Now) — Investigators are working to learn what caused a house to catch fire in Fairfax County early Wednesday morning.
In a post on X around 3 a.m., the Fairfax County Fire and Rescue Department said units were called to the 6000 block of Locust Way for a fire.
There, firefighters found heavy flames and smoke billowing from the home.
The fire department posted a video on social media showing an aerial view of crews fighting the blaze. Throughout the video, firefighters could be seen dousing the flames with water and circling the home.
Officials said first responders were not injured during the call.
