SENIOR Tory Suella Braverman has defected to Reform UK – becoming the party’s 8th MP.
Nigel Farage announced the latest defection at a veterans’ event in central London.

The former Home Secretary joined him on stage, saying it is her love of Britain that has led to her defection.
She warned against a “managed decline”, adding: “Immigration is out of control, our public services are on their knees, people don’t feel safe, we can’t even defend ourselves and our nation stands humiliated on the world stage.”
Ms Braverman’s defection does not come as a surprise as she had long been seen as a potential flight-risk Tory given her outspoken criticism of Conservative leadership and repeated clashes over immigration and law-and-order policy.
