Emma Corrin has revealed they were ‘high as a kite’ while shooting scenes for A Murder At The End Of The World series.
The actress, 28, who identifies as non-binary, looked glamorous in a chic off-white set as they attended a screening in Los Angeles on Sunday for the Disney+ series.
The psychological thriller, which released in November 2023, tells the story of a modern-day detective who tries to solve crimes and fix the climate crisis.
Emma, who portrays Darby Hart, a Gen Z sleuth in the series, said the series was physically draining for their body and took a toll on their health.
But, to prevent Emma from missing a day off filming as it was crucial to shoot scenes, they had to have an injunction in their backside to ease discomfort.

Speaking to Elizabeth Debicki, 33, for Variety’s Actors on Actors series, Emma said: ‘Six months into the shoot, where I had to be there physically and well enough to do my best, it was a lot. There were moments where your body, it catches up with you.
‘My wisdom teeth started coming through — super helpful. My jaw was swollen, and I was in so much pain. But they were like, “Our hands are tied. If we can’t shoot with you, we miss a day of filming”.
‘They got this doctor who turned up with this dodgy briefcase, and he was like, “I’m going to give you a steroid for the pain. Just turn around.” He shot me in the bum. It was great. I was high as a kite.’
Emma also revealed they suffered from hallucination when shooting a scene with Alice Braga on a snowmobile.
The actor said they were ‘convinced’ they were being ‘attacked by bees’, due to the steroid injection.
At the screening on Sunday, Emma chatted about the series on stage with her co-stars at the Linwood Dunn theatre.

Darby Hart (Emma Corrin) receives an invitation to attend a retreat in a remote location.
However, the trip quickly goes awry after Darby turns ‘Gen Z amateur sleuth’ rushing to solve a murder before the killer strikes again.
Even though Disney+ have only launched five episodes of the show so far, audiences are already clearly enamoured, as the series already boasts an incredible Rotten Tomatoes score of 97 per cent.
