EastEnders fans gushed over Elaine Lordan’s incredible transformation as she posed for a rare Instagram snap with former co-star Lucy Benjamin.
The actress, 58, who is best known for playing Lynne Hobbs in the BBC soap from 2000 to 2004, reunited with Lucy, who portrayed Lisa Fowler on and off from 1998 until 2023.
During their meeting, Elaine and Lucy couldn’t contain their smiles as they posed for a sweet selfie while sitting outside.
Styling her bobbed brunette-tresses loose, Elaine looked incredible in a black-and-white striped T-shirt and wore a pair of reading glasses, while Lucy stunned in a leopard-print T-shirt and her own pair of reading glasses.
Lucy gushed: ‘Oh I love this woman with all my heart! #ElaineLordan #eastenders.’

The picture has resurfaced as nostalgic fans reminisce on stars past and present as the soap celebrates its 40th anniversary.
Social media users rushed to the comments to gush how incredible Elaine looked and begged her to come back to the BBC soap.

Elaine appeared in EastEnders from 2000 but lost her job in 2004 after suffering from alcoholism.
In March 2018, Elaine prompted concern for her welfare after she was seen drinking on a public street during an appearance in London.

She suffered a traumatic time in 2005 when her mother Bernadette took her own life after she jumped in front of a London tube.
The tragedy left Elaine grief stricken and nine months later, her baby James was born five weeks premature and died days before his first birthday.
She heartbreakingly miscarried her second baby shortly before her 72-year-old father Garrett died in 2008.
Speaking about her heartbreaking time, Elaine told the Mirror in 2008 that she was determined to rebuild her life and move on from her tragic past.
She said: ‘People say, “You are the unluckiest person in the world”, but I don’t think, “Woe is me”,’ she told the publication.
‘I don’t want people to feel sorry for me and I don’t want them to feel they have to come up to me. There are people far worse off than me.’
‘I have learned so much from everything that has happened. Life does have to go on,’ she added.
