Police are searching for a driver who struck a bicyclist in the Broadway-Manchester neighborhood of Los Angeles overnight and left him dying in the street.
The hit-and-run incident was reported shortly after 11 p.m. Sunday near East Century Boulevard and San Pedro Street.
Officers arrived to find a badly damaged bicycle and a man in his mid-30s down on the street.
The unidentified man was pronounced dead at the scene, a spokesperson for the Los Angeles Police Department confirmed to KTLA.
Investigators believe the bicyclist was riding westbound on Century Boulevard when he was struck by a vehicle traveling in the same direction.
The motorist did not stop to render aid and continued driving on Century Boulevard.
The spokesperson was unable to provide a description of the driver or the vehicle.
