FAIRFAX COUNTY, Va. (DC News Now) — One dog is dead after a fire broke out in a home in West Falls Church on Tuesday.
The Fairfax County Fire and Rescue Department said crews responded to a house fire in the 3200 block of Dashiell Road.
There, firefighters were able to rescue one person from the home but one dog was found dead.
The person was taken to the hospital and no other injuries were reported.
Fire investigators were called to the house.
