Police are searching for a man who they say fatally shot another man after a dispute at a bar in North Hollywood.
According to a Los Angeles Police Department spokesperson, officers were called to the 11100 block of Magnolia Boulevard around 1:45 a.m. Saturday on reports of a shooting.
“The suspect, a Hispanic male in his 40s, and a white male victim were involved in a verbal dispute at a bar,” the LAPD spokesperson confirmed to KTLA. “The suspect produced a firearm and struck the victim.”
Responding paramedics pronounced the victim dead at the scene. His identity was not released.
The suspect was said to have fled the scene in a vehicle, though the make and model of which was not immediately known to authorities.
Investigators with LAPD’s Homicide Unit are looking into the deadly shooting.
