A Brazilian influencer and her friend are missing at sea after a speedboat transporting them back to shore from a luxury yacht capsized off the coast of Sao Vicente on Sunday.
Police confirmed that Aline Tamara Moreira, 37, and Beatriz Tavares da Silva Faria 27, were onboard a speedboat when the accident happened as they desperately search for the two women who disappeared in a coastal region known as the Devil’s Throat.
Just moments before the tragedy struck, influencer Aline had posted images of herself on the luxury yacht alongside her friends.
One image shows Aline, dressed in blue, on the boat looking at the camera as she holds a drink. Another picture shows the influencer joined by two female pals.
According to her brother Anderson Carlos Moreira de Amorim, Aline does not know how to swim.

Aline reportedly has a 17-year-old son
Survivors told that they were at a party on a larger yacht and when they decided to leave, six of them used a speedboat that overturned after it went to pick them up.
Five people, two men and three women were rescued and received medical attention.
They had injuries caused by the collision with parts of the vessel and with the rocks in the region.
The City of Sao Vicente reported in a statement that the Mobile Emergency Care Service (SAMU) was called to respond to the incident.
After initial care, four of those rescued were taken to the Central Emergency Room while one refused further medical attention. At the health unit, the remaining four were medicated and discharged from hospital.
Nilce Aparecida Silva, a resident of Praia Grande, is a cousin to the missing woman Beatriz and she took to Facebook to ask for prayers so that she might still be found alive.
She said: ‘In addition to being a cousin, Bia is my granddaughter’s godmother. She loved the sea and, when she came to the coast, she always found a way to stop by our house. We are praying that she will be found alive.’

Nilce made her home available to other Beatriz relatives following the search. According to her, Beatriz was living in the east zone of Sao Paulo.
One survivor Camila Alves, 20, took to social media to give details about the accident.
‘During the journey, a very strong wave made the boat capsize on top of us. We saw three life jackets and two gallons of gasoline. Each one grabbed one and tried to fight for their lives’, she recalled.
‘None of the girls knew how to swim. Everyone started to get lost and try to save themselves’, adding that ‘people were seriously injured in the accident. I hit my head on the rock, I got stitched up. Everyone was really hurt.’
She also urged the public to ‘pray for the girls, so that they are found alive and well’.
The ‘Devil’s Throat’, which is the region where the accident occurred, is located between Porchat Island and Xixova-Japui State Park, in Sao Vicente. It attracts surfers because of its waves, but hides several dangers due to the strong currents that hit the area.
It comes as Brazilian OnlyFans model Adriana Vieira, 31, was found dead in a Florida harbor following a party on a rapper’s yacht last week.
The mother-of-one reportedly went swimming the night before she was found in Miami harbor.
The name of the rapper who hosted the party has not been released.
Vieira, originally from Sao Paulo, Brazil, reportedly arrived in Florida with her husband two years ago and they posted photos of their lavish lifestyle on social media.
Her husband, named as Roberto Tesario, returned to Brazil soon after leaving Adriana to raise their child alone.
Her mother Antonia de Lourdes Vieira told Brazilian media: ‘I want my daughter’s death to be investigated and need help me bring her body back.
‘I don’t know how long I have until she’s buried in a pauper’s grave.’
Vieira’s six-year-old son is reportedly being cared for by a nanny while her family travels to the US.
