Investigators are on the search for a homicide suspect after a Los Angeles shooting left one man dead on Friday night.
It happened just after 11 p.m. in East L.A., according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.
Deputies responded to reports of a gunshot victim on the 1100 block of Eastman Avenue and arrived to find a man down, suffering from gunshot wounds.
The man’s family members took him to a local hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.
LASD did not immediately reveal the victim’s identity.
Details on the incident are limited, but officials said deputies found evidence of the shooting on the 3600 block of East Meisner Street.
Investigators also discovered that a dark-colored sedan was seen leaving the scene immediately after the shooting, but said no further information was available as of Saturday afternoon.
