WASHINGTON (DC News Now) — Police in D.C. are investigating after a man was shot in Southwest over the weekend.
The Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) told DC News Now that officers were called to the Unit block of Galveston Street just before 8:30 p.m. on Feb. 9.
Upon arrival, officers located a man conscious and breathing with a gunshot wound.
Medics took him to the hospital for treatment. His condition is unknown, as of Monday morning.
The shooting remains under investigation.
