WASHINGTON (DC News Now) — Police in the District were investigating a deadly stabbing that happened in Northwest D.C. on Sunday night.
In a post on X made at 6:20 p.m., the Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) said the stabbing happened in the 1700 block of Columbia Road NW. Detectives at the scene confirmed with DC News Now that someone died.
MPD said they were looking for a suspect with short braids. He was reportedly wearing one dark green Nike Jordan shoe.
