WASHINGTON (DC News Now) — Investigators are working to learn what caused a fire to ignite at a home in Washington, D.C. that left multiple people displaced the day before Thanksgiving.
The DC Fire and EMS Department (DCFD) said that around 6 a.m. on Wednesday, firefighters were called to an alarm in the 2600 block of Bowen Road SE.
Once on the scene, crews located a fire on the second floor of a single-family home.
The fire was extinguished and no one was hurt.
Officials said the American Red Cross is assisting four people.
