The calendar has turned — and awards season is moving into hyperdrive. The 31st annual Critics Choice Awards are being handed out tonight, and Deadline is posting the winners live as they are announced. See the list so far below, and check out our red carpet interviews and more on X/Twitter.
Timothée Chalamet won Best Actor for A24’s Marty Supreme, and Jessie Buckley won Best Actress for Focus Features’ Hamnet.
Warner Bros‘ Sinners comes in with a leading 17 nominations, and Ryan Coogler’s blockbuster has taken home a co-leading four statuettes tonight: Best Original Screenplay, Best Young Actor or Actress (Miles Caton), Best Score and the inaugural Best Casting and Ensemble prize.
But Paul Thomas Anderson pulled off an upset, taking Best Director for Warners’ One Battle After Another, after winning Best Adapted Screenplay.
Netflix’s Frankenstein also has four CCAs so far, for Best Supporting Actor Jacob Elordi, along with Costume Design, Hair & Makeup and Production Design.
The streamer’s KPop Demon Hunters has two for Best Animated Feature and Song, and Apple’s F1 has also has a pair for Best Sound and Editing.
Other film winners include WB’s Weapons, 20th Century Studios’ Avatar: Fire and Ash, Neon’s The Secret Agent, Netflix’s Train Dreams and KPop Demon Hunters and Paramount’s Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning and The Naked Gun.

The Pitt won Best Drama Series, and the HBO Max hospital show’s Noah Wyle and Katherine LaNasa took the respective Best Actor and Supporting Actress prizes.
Apple TV’s The Studio took Best Comedy Series, following up on its Emmy win in September. The show’s Seth Rogen and Ike Barinholtz won Best Actor and Supporting Actor, respectively. Jean Smart kept her Hacks awards momentum going with Best Actress in a Comedy for the HBO Max series.
Rhea Seehorn won Best Actress in a Drama Series for Apple TV’s freshman Pluribus.
Netflix’s Adolescence led all small-screen programs with six nominations, and it has a TV-leading four wins for Best Limited Series, Stephen Graham for Best Actor in a Limited Series or TV Movie and Owen Cooper and Erin Doherty for Supporting Actor and Actress, respectively.

After its tumultuous, newsmaking year, ABC’s Jimmy Kimmel Live! won Best Talk Show. Sarah Snook won Best Actress in a Limited Series or TV Movie for Peacock’s All Her Fault. Other TV winners include Comedy Central’s South Park, ABC’s Abbott Elementary, NBC’s SNL50: The Anniversary Special and Netflix’s Squid Game.
Netflix already has a dozen CCAs to lead all distributors and networks/platforms. Warner Bros and Apple TV are next with five, followed by HBO Max with four.
Chelsea Handler is back for a fourth consecutive stint as host of the ceremony from Barker Hangar in Santa Monica, and she lauded the late Rob Reiner as “the nicest man in Hollywood.” The Critics Choice Association added four new categories for its 2026 trophy show: Best Sound, Best Stunt Design and Best Casting & Ensemble on the movie side and Best Variety Series among the TV categories.
