Courteney Cox is the latest to enter the 80s dance trend craze with a dance she actually did in the 1980s.

The then unknown blue-eyed brunette created a sensation back in 1984, when Bruce Springsteen reached into the audience and pulled her on stage to be his dance partner toward the end of award winning music video.

The practice became a standard practice as the Ivor Novello Award winner traveled the world with the E Street Band on their Born in the USA tour.

Now forty years later, the former Friends star is showing she still has the moves that made her the envy of millions.

In a fun social media video, the actress, 59, is in her living room, wearing a teal hoodie, a white t-shirt and jeans.

‘Asking my mom how she danced in the 80s’ was written across the screen.

She begins to make some stiff moves raising her arms in the air to some techno music.

The Emmy nominee shakes her head and then quickly unzips her hoodie, revealing a concert T-shirt just like the one she wore in the video as she danced with the hitmaker.

She interspersed some of the video footage into the clip.

‘1980’s dancing…in the dark,’ Cox posted next to the clip Sunday.

Friends co-star Jennifer Aniston responded with  clap, firework and laugh till you cry emojis

Jennifer Garner declared Cox the victor in the viral contest. ‘You win! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️’ she said.

Actress Ali Wentworth called the moves, ‘Iconic!’ and Julianne Moore showed her enthusiasm with clap emojis.

In a video celebrating the 40th anniversary of the Born in the USA album on Springsteen’s Instagram account, it was revealed Dancing in the Dark was a ‘last minute addition to the album that became its lead single.’
