POLICE have rushed to a synagogue where someone has reportedly been stabbed.
Cops are at the scene of an alleged stabbing at a synagogue in Crumpsall, on the outskirts of Manchester on the second day of Yom Kippur.
Mayor Andy Burnham told BBC Radio Manchester a “serious incident” took place and the immediate danger is over.
He says police dealt with the matter quickly and he has asked people to avoid the area.
A cordon is in place and paramedics sighted in the area this morning.
