COPS have launched an urgent nationwide appeal to find a mum and son who went missing over two weeks ago.
Anxhelina, 32, and Rojs, 11, were reported missing from Hyde in Tameside, Greater Manchester, on September 19.
Greater Manchester Police have been investigating their disappearance for 19 days with enquiries ongoing.
It is thought the pair have links to the north east, London and Scotland, with numerous other UK police forces also issuing public appeals.
Greater Manchester Police are continuing to appeal for anyone with details about their possible whereabouts to get in touch.
In a post on the GMP Tameside Facebook page, officers said: “We are continuing to appeal for any information around missing Anxhelina (32) and Rojs (11) who have been missing from Hyde since Thursday 19 September 2024.
“We believe that they have links to the North East, London and Scotland.
“Officers are becoming increasingly concerned for their welfare.”
Police Scotland also confirmed the pair have links to Edinburgh, as a force spokesperson added: “Anxhelina and Rojs have links to the Edinburgh area.
“Contact Police via 101 if you think you can help.”
Further details about the pair’s disappearance have not been disclosed by Greater Manchester Police.
The Metropolitan Police have also been approached for a comment.
