The community turned out Saturday for a Dia de los Muertos celebration in Mission Viejo.
Several residents of the region participated in a La Catarina costume contest and children and adults, alike, enjoyed making flower crowns for the Day of the Dead celebration.
There were cultural performances, traditional ofrendas and more at the Norman P. Murray Center.
