Comedian actress Leslie Jones urgently requests that her one million plus followers on X, formerly known as Twitter, vote this coming November 5, 2024. She expressed concern that only 1/3 of people in the United States will vote.
Jones explains how the system is working the way it’s supposed to, and that’s to try to stop people from voting. She expresses that if our votes didn’t matter, why are people trying to stop them? She explains that we may not like our choices for President, but we need to vote because people are trying to take away women’s rights and bring them back in time.
Without mentioning the two Presidential candidates by name, President Biden and Former President Trump, Jones gives enough information to let you know who will be the better President, as well as urging voters to vote for their local mayors and other down-ballot candidates.
