PRINCE GEORGE’S COUNTY, Md. (DC News Now) — Prince George’s County said a child was taken to the hospital after a shooting on Wednesday.
According to the Prince George’s County Police Department (PGPD), on Oct. 16 around 6:45 p.m., officers received a call about a shooting in the 4000 block of Saint Barnabas Road.
There, police said they did not find evidence of a shooting. Instead, officers located a vehicle with its window shattered.
Police told DC News Now a young child was injured from the broken glass and was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
The reason for the shooting remains under investigation.
