Chappell Roan had a shocking response to the recent report of her split from management.
Billboard took to their Instagram to post a photo of the 26-year-old Pink Pony Club hitmaker while promoting their article about the management firing.
It was captioned to their 17million followers: ‘Chappell Roan has split with her management team, sources confirm to Billboard. The news comes after the breakout star scored her first slate of Grammy nominations, including in all of the Big Four categories.
‘Roan’s nods were notably left off a congratulatory post shared from the Instagram account for State Of the Art — the company Roan was previously signed to, with Nick Bobetsky as her manager.’
Chappell was obviously not happy with the post as she commented on it: ‘Yall suck for this.’

Billboard took Instagram to post a photo of the 26-year-old Pink Pony Club hitmaker while promoting their article about the management firing to which she replied: ‘Yall suck for this’
The original report from Billboard revealed that the pop megastar had split with her management team of six years, according to Billboard.
Roan has parted ways with State of the Art management and her manager Nick Bobetsky.
She signed with the company in 2018 and Bobetsky was a big fan of Chappell, whose real name is Kayleigh Rose Amstutz, from the very start.
‘Her immense talent was clear immediately,’ Bobetsky previously told Billboard about Chappell, who has been nominated for Best New Artist and Song of the Year among other nominations.
Rumors of the professional split started circulating last month after Roan faced backlash for remarks she made about the U.S. Presidential election and her last minute cancellation of her appearance at the All Things Go festival.
When she cancelled the festival appearance she cited her health as the reasoning.
‘Things have gotten overwhelming over the past few weeks and I am really feeling it,’ Roan said at the time. ‘I feel pressures to prioritize a lot of things right now and I need a few days to prioritize my health.’
The Every Single Album podcast reported last month that Chappell had fired her management team and that top music managers were now competing to sign her.

Neither Chappell nor State of the Art have commented on the split other than the social media interaction with Billboard. DailyMail.com has reached out to Chappell’s reps for comment.
Chappell has had a few controversial dust-ups with the press including last month when she found herself in a heated red carpet exchange with a photographer atpal Olivia Rodrigo’s GUTS film premiere in LA.
In a viral clip of the incident, Roan can be heard calling out the unidentified attendant: ‘You were so disrespectful to me at the Grammys.’
She continued, ‘You were so disrespectful to me at the Grammys. You yelled at me at the Grammy party. Yes. Yes… At the Universal after-party. I remember. You were so rude to me, and I deserve an apology for that. Yeah, yep yep, you do. No no no. You need to apologize to me.’
It comes after Chappell was praised by fans for ‘defending herself’ as she delivered an expletive-laden response while posing for snaps ahead of the VMAs ceremony in September.
In footage of the incident, a photographer was heard shouting: ‘Shut the f*** up,’ Chappell turned and bellowed back: ‘YOU shut the f*** up!’
She added: ‘No! Not me, b****!’ prompting whoops from some of the observers on the scene. ‘Tell him, girl,’ said one woman who was watching the encounter.

Chappell was filmed furiously hitting back at a photographer as she walked the red carpet at the MTV Video Music Awards back in September
In footage of the incident, a photographer was heard shouting: ‘Shut the f*** up,’ Chappell turned and bellowed back: ‘YOU shut the f*** up!’
The exchange began when a male photographer off-camera was heard apparently shouting that someone needed to ‘turn.’
Chappell at that point was facing away from the cameras, as she was in the process of having her extravagant red carpet outfit adjusted.
The star has previously been vocal about her exasperation over ‘weird’ fans making her ‘uncomfortable’ with their intrusive behavior – prompting a backlash from social media users who felt she was being ungrateful for her stardom.
Whether Chappell got her apology remains unknown, though a team member stepped in as the video came to a close.
The Femininomenon hitmaker has also spoken out about the lack of boundaries she has experienced from her own fan base.
‘When I’m on stage, when I’m performing, when I’m in drag, when I’m at a work event, when I’m doing press … I am at work,’ she wrote on Instagram in August.
‘Any other circumstance, I am not in work mode…I don’t agree with the notion that I owe a mutual exchange of energy, time, or attention to people I do not know, do not trust, or who creep me out — just because they’re expressing admiration.’
In a comment on her post, the Hot To Go singer spoke out about boundaries and respect and the fact that she isn’t afraid to express and demand both.

‘Why is a girl expressing her fears and boundaries so infuriating?’ That is all.’
Last week, the Pink Pony Club singer made her debut performance on Saturday Night Live where she performed an as yet unreleased country song called The Giver.
Most recently, Chappell performed at the Grammy Museum in an event called Chappell Roan at Spotlight: A Night with Chappell Roan at the Grammy Museum.
