The Boston Celtics 121-99 blowout road win over the Utah Jazz says a lot about where we are in the NBA calendar. At this point in the 2024-25 regular season, the Celtics have one of the easiest remaining strengths of schedule in the entire league, and with their seeding for the 2025 NBA Playoffs all but locked into the No. 2 seed, they can afford to play loose with a deep bench.
And that is exactly how that contest against the Jazz in Salt Lake City this past Friday (March 21) evening went, with Boston seeming to keep their foot off the gas until they decided it was time to play for real, shutting the door on Utah in emphatic fashion.
