Carrie Underwood got ripped by American Idol co-star Lionel Richie when on Good Morning America on Wednesday.
The blonde beauty looked confused when Lionel said she is just too nice on the competition show.
The All Night Long singer said Carrie constantly comes to the defense of contestants by saying things like ‘but he’s so cute.’
Underwood stood up for herself as she argued she just likes to weigh the pros and the cons of the budding singers before making a decision.
Carrie and Lionel were joined by costar Luke Bryan during a fun question-and-answer session with the show’s hosts on the morning show.

Also on the show Carrie revealed her nickname is Jukebox Carrie because she can bust out any song and know all the lyrics.
Richie and Bryan revealed that they came up with a nickname for Underwood based on her talent to recall the lyrics to ‘all’ songs.
‘It’s amazing what she has up in that little jukebox head of hers,’ Richie said during a teaser clip from an upcoming episode of American Idol.
‘She knows every lyric to every song. I have never met anyone like that ever,’ Richie later added on the morning talk show.
The country singer-songwriter, who won season four of American Idol in 2005, and her fellow judges spoke about working together.
When asked about being in a judge’s chair rather than standing up on stage for the competition show, she responded: ‘I mean, 20 years, first, have just flown by.
‘It doesn’t feel like it, but it’s really cool to be on the other side of things,’ she added.
‘And hopefully we can all impart some knowledge and help some people make their dreams come true.

At one point, the morning show hosts turned to the ‘OGs’ to ask them about working with Underwood, joking that they ‘can’t even call [her] a new kid’ anymore because of her ‘wonderful’ career.
In response, Underwood laughed and retorted: ‘Don’t call me an old kid.’
Bryan later shared a story about Underwood when they were still ‘early in the tapings.’
‘Carrie didn’t know that you could just like just start telling the contestants what to sing. I was like, “Sing Happy Birthday and sing this.” And Carrie’s like, “We can do that?”
‘So the fun part about that is when you really see something magical in a kid and the other two judges, you can really take ownership of this one particular contestant,’ he continued. ‘And I think she’s already done some of that this year.’
Her sense of style was on display.

She greeted a crowd of excited fans with Richie before entering the studio as well as stepping out again after they talked about her experience returning to American Idol in a different role after 20 years.
For her first look of the day, Underwood layered a sparkly, patterned blazer over a white blouse and donned fitted, flared trousers in a matching pattern.

She made the streets of New York City her runway as she strutted in a pair of white platform heels.
The Before He Cheats singer left her hair down, styling her platinum blonde tresses in subtle beach waves.
And she completed her look with dainty diamond jewelry and a soft, monochromatic pink makeup look to highlight her beauty.
For her outfit change, she swapped out her platform heels for a pair of black, leather pumps.
Underwood also took off all her silver jewelry in exchange for chunky gold bands.
At one point, she was seen alongside Richie greeting and interacting with fans amid their press tour.
The music legend looked effortlessly stylish in a forest green, fleece bomber jacket paired with sunglasses with matching tinted lenses.
He also paired dark trousers with shiny, patent leather sneakers for their day out in the Big Apple.
