A subway rider was in critical condition from being stabbed after getting into a dispute with another man on a Bronx train. Police arrested his attacker.
Police said the 30-year-old victim found himself in a verbal dispute Saturday afternoon shortly before 3:30 p.m. on a northbound 2 train at the Third Avenue — 149th St. Station, and was stabbed in his chest.
The man was rushed to Lincoln Hospital where he was listed in critical condition, according to police sources.
The 36-year-old suspect was awaiting official charges and arraignment, police said.
A motive for the stabbing was initially unclear, police said, and the investigation remains ongoing.
