They include International Pronouns Day and Be Kind to Humankind Week.

National Tsunami Awareness Week is also pencilled in, for no obvious reason.

A Freedom of Information request also revealed the force employs 64 diversity staff.

It also has 47 staff support networks, including a HeForShe gender equality initiative.

Meanwhile, it has cut thousands of jobs as it wrestles with a £250million funding gap.

William Yarwood, of the TaxPayers’ Alliance, urged the Met to “scrap the gimmicks.

He called for them to “get back to basics.”

And Tory leader on the London Assembly, Susan Hall said: “This is the stuff of absolute wokery.

“It’s just too nonsensical for words.

“All we want is for police officers to do their job, not worry about Tsunami Week.”
