EXCLUSIVE: Legendary Entertainment has hired Brian Worsley as Senior Vice President of Marketing & Creative Advertising. Worsley will report to Blair Rich, Legendary’s recently appointed Chief Marketing & Commercial Officer, with whom he has worked closely for many years, extending back to the duo’s collaboration within Warner Bros.’ worldwide marketing division.
“Having worked with Brian a long time, I know firsthand his strategic and creative strength, and his deep understanding of creating notable advertising campaigns,” said Rich. “He’s a meaningful addition to our dynamic and story driven company and will help power our marketing team to engage with audiences in new, memorable ways to empower our next chapter of growth.”
He will play a key role in global marketing across Legendary’s diversified verticals, including film, television, gaming, and licensing & merchandising, as well as partnerships and joint ventures, such as the recently launched global production and sales entity 193. His addition to Rich’s team signifies the continued growth of Legendary’s marketing prowess, as it finds innovative ways to connect with audiences. He further strengthens the independent studio amid its new phase of expansion, building upon record-breaking success in 2024 and its favorable new management-owned business structure.

Worsley is a versatile creative marketer and strategist with experience across several industries. He first worked with Rich as part of Warner Bros. Entertainment’s Worldwide Marketing team, which she led. During Worsley’s 15-year tenure at Warner Bros., he rose through the ranks ultimately as SVP, Creative Advertising. He played a critical role in some of the studio’s most iconic theatrical campaigns, including for The Dark Knight Rises, The Hobbit trilogy, Inception, Dunkirk, Mad Max: Fury Road, Judas and the Black Messiah and Godzilla.
Worsley then joined Rich at Virgin Galactic, where he served as Creative & Strategy Consultant, contributing to the groundbreaking Unity 22 space flight event. Worsley’s other experiences include overseeing marketing, entertainment, and promotions for the Los Angeles Dodgers’ High-A affiliate, Great Lakes Loons, and overseeing theatrical and streaming campaigns for LA-based creative agency Concept Arts. Holding a BSC in Communication and an MFA in Film Production from the University of Miami, he has also served as an Adjunct Professor at Delta College, teaching courses in media, screenwriting, and digital production.
