Trina McGee, one of the stars of the 1990s sitcom Boy Meets World, revealed she was pregnant on Monday — at the age of 54.
The actress shared her happy news on Instagram, before announcing that she was ‘Gonna sign off social media for a bit.’
‘At the tender age of 54 I have found myself pregnant,’ she said in a short video soundtracked with The Supremes’ classic Baby Love. ‘Please bless us with your prayers for a safe delivery. Thank you.’
She added in her caption: ‘Thanks for your prayers and well wishes in advance.’
McGee — who got an apology from her costar Danielle Fishelle in recent years for her ‘cold’ behavior — is best known for her role of Angela Moore on Boy Meets World, which she joined in 1997 and appeared on through its seventh and final season in 2000.

Trina’s fans shared their ebullient congratulations in the comments to her post, and many highlighted her age.
’54?!?! Years old?!?! I mean yeah congratulations on the baby but how are you 54?!’ joked one fan, seemingly referencing her age-defying appearance.
‘Yeah, but in Trina McGee years you’re still only in your thirties,’ wrote another fan.
‘Sarah didn’t have Isaac until she was 89,’ added on commenter.
Trina already has three children, including two whom she shares with her ex-husband Randall Courtland Davis. They were married from 1991 to 2001.
McGee is best known for playing Angela Moore on Boy Meets World in its final three seasons. She played the love interest to Rider Strong’s character Shawn Hunter (pictured together in 1998)
