A BOY in Thailand has been left deeply traumatised after classmates cruelly tattooed a vulgar word across his forehead using a makeshift tattoo gun.
The shocking incident unfolded in Kanchanaburi province, western Thailand, where the 10-year-old boy named Kao was targeted by a group of so-called friends.
The children etched the word “p***y” onto his forehead in a brutal act of bullying.
They didn’t stop there. Kao’s arms and legs were also covered in crude designs.
Images of the boy’s inked skin quickly spread across social media, sparking outrage worldwide.
Among those who saw the photos was Janjira “Frame” Kaewket, a local eyebrow tattoo artist.
Kaewket, who owns Chaiyaphum Beautiful Eyebrows salon in Kanchanaburi, decided to step in and help the boy for free.
She offered to remove the tattoos using a laser treatment, sparing him and his family the cost of the procedure.
On October 4, Kao underwent the first session. Footage shows him wearing protective goggles as the laser gets to work.
“I was shocked that someone would dare tattoo such a young child,” Kaewket said.
“But I assured him the tattoos could easily be removed because they were only using a tool, a sewing needle attached to a pen.”
She explained that while the removal itself took 15 minutes, preparation was longer.
“The removal itself only took 15 minutes to finish, but we had to leave the anaesthetic on for about an hour because the boy is so young,” she said.
The damage extended beyond his forehead.
“It wasn’t just on his forehead. There were over ten spots on his legs, all of which we managed to remove for him,” she added.
Kaewket also revealed that Kao hadn’t acted on his own.
The boy had “simply been following the instructions of older children,” she said.
Fortunately, the tattoos were not deeply embedded, meaning the damage can be reversed with around three laser sessions.
Thanks to the swift intervention, the words and designs are expected to face completely.

The incident comes just weeks after another shocking case involving tattoos and minors in Thailand.
In August, a father in Chon Buri province filed a police complaint after discovering his 14-year-old son had been given a full torso tattoo without parental consent.
According to the Bangkok Post, the family claimed the tattoo parlour in the Km 10 district failed to ask for ID or permission from a guardian.
A preliminary police investigation found the shop had tattooed several minors under 20 without checking ages or seeking consent.
Under Thailand’s Public Health Act, anyone under 18 who wants a tattoo must have parental approval.
The two incidents have reignited debate over tattooing practices in Thailand, particularly concerning minors.
For Kao, the physical marks are already being erased – but the emotional scars will take longer to heal.
