A death investigation is underway after a man was found dead in a motel room in Bell Sunday evening.
Deputies were sent to the 4400 block of Florence Avenue to assist responding Bell police officers around 5:40 p.m., the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department stated in a news release.
An unidentified man was pronounced dead at the scene, and a homicide investigation was underway, the Sheriff’s Department confirmed.
No further details about the victim or the cause of death were immediately provided.
Video showed law enforcement outside the Bell Manor Motel as the investigation continued for several hours.
