Bill Murray got emotional talking about his old pal Bruce Willis, who has been battling frontal temporal dementia and aphasia for the last several years.
During a guest spot on Monday’s Watch What Happens Live, Murray told host Andy Cohen that the two actors became friends while filming Wes Anderson 2012 film Moonrise Kingdom. Willis, who turned 70 last month, is a “good f*cking guy,” said a teary Murray.

Murray also noted that he and Willis actually crossed paths years ago, when Murray was on Saturday Night Live and Willis was an NBC Page whose job involved making sure the stars’ dressing rooms were stocked with pretzels and M&Ms.
Said Murray, “When I met him after he was already a successful guyt, he said, ‘You and Gilda were nice to me,’ and I thought, ok I’m good with this guy.”
