That’s a lot of games for bettors to put money down on. But what are the best bets of the day?

Independence Bowl: Louisiana Tech vs. Army
- Bryson Daily, Over 147.5 Rushing Yards at -117
- Army -14.5 at -110
- Same Game Parlay Odds: +203 (odds via Caesars)
Army is going to enter this game with a bad taste in its proverbial mouth after the loss to Navy. They’ll be looking for redemption/someone to take their anger out on. With Marshall backing out, that honor will fall to a 5-7 Louisiana Tech team.
A 14.5-point spread is a big one for a run-oriented team to cover, but Army did so in nine of their 11 wins this season. Against an inferior LA Tech team that lost a few of its best defensive players to the portal, they’ll have a two-touchdown lead in the first quarter.
As for Daily, the Army quarterback was contained by Navy, so he will absolutely be looking for redemption in his final college football game. He’s gone over 147.5 yards rushing just three times this season, but he’ll be plenty motivated to have a big day in this game.

Best Bets for Dec. 28: NFL
Cowboys vs. Eagles
- Saquon Barkley, OVER 21.5 Rushing Attempts -120 (FanDuel)
Barkley averaged right around 21 rushing attempts a game when Jalen Hurts plays. But with Kenny Pickett getting the start this week, the Eagles will more than likely make a point to establish the run early. That could mean additional carries for Kenneth Gainwell.
But Barkley is the best running back in the NFL this season. He’ll probably get between 25-30.
- Cowboys +7.5 at -105 (odds via Caesars)
Without Hurts, the Eagles’ offense will not be a scary beast. The defense will be on the field enough that it will eventually get tired. Now, the Cowboys are without CeeDee Lamb, and the Eagles crushed Cooper Rush a few weeks ago.
But Rush has improved of late, and since the Dallas defense does not need to worry about Hurts, Philly will not win this game by a touchdown (if they win it at all).

Packers vs. Vikings

Addison has been on fire in recent weeks, with over half of his receptions for the season coming in the last five weeks (32 of 56). He only had three when the Vikings played the Packers earlier in the season, but that could be chalked up to Darnold just not being as familiar with Addison as he is now. They’ve had time to establish trust, and it’s paying off.
