A “BEAUTIFUL” woman was found dead in bed by her boyfriend after a house party, an inquest heard.
Polly Zajdler, 29, was helped upstairs after pals described her as being “unsteady on her feet”.
Her partner Scott went to check on her in the morning and discovered Polly unresponsive in bed, the court in Bradford heard.
Emergency crews were called to the home in Huddersfield but tragically, Polly could not be saved.
The inquest heard Polly had consumed alcohol as well as taking a number of prescribed and controlled drugs at the party last August.
The amount of one drug was said to be “very high” and within the range that had caused other fatalities in the past, Yorkshire Live reports.
Police investigated the tragedy but found there was no evidence of any suspicious circumstances.
The inquest heard the use of the drugs and alcohol had “enhanced” the sedative effects and caused respiratory depression.
Recording a verdict of misadventure, Assistant coroner Caroline Chandler said Polly died from a “deliberate act” that had unintended consequences.
Polly’s mum Sharon described the care navigator as a wonderful daughter and sister to her two siblings.
She added: “We will miss her terribly and will love her always.”
Following Polly’s death, family and friends launched a Go Fund Me appeal to help with funeral expenses.
A post on the fundraising page said: “Polly was a loving daughter, sister and loyal friend to many.
“She had a beautiful, kind, caring soul who touched the hearts of everyone who she met.
“Polly was a person who you could meet once and you would walk away with a new friend.
“She had a passion for animals, nature, music, and unique, quirky things.”
