Jenn Tran had a special visitor supporting her at the Dancing with the Stars season 33 premiere!
As Jenn, 26, prepared to perform her first dance on the competition show on Tuesday, Sept. 17, Jonathon Johnson, who was a contestant on her season of The Bachelorette, was seen sitting front row to watch her alongside Bachelor Nation’s Susie Evans and Justin Glaze, and Love Is Blind’s Chloe Veitch.
Prior to the dance, Jonathon, 28, stood up and clapped from the sidelines. He then continued to cheer Jenn on throughout the routine, fueling ongoing speculation from the past few weeks that the two are dating.
“Jonathon’s supporting Jenn,” wrote one user on X (formerly Twitter) beside a teary-eyed emoji.
“an involuntary ‘wahoo’ escaped my lips when jonathon appeared on screen,” wrote another.
One comment read, excitedly, “JONATHON IS IN THE HOUSE”
Jenn joined DWTS just hours after filming the After the Final Rose special, where she revealed she and fiancé Devin Strader had broken up. In the days following the special, Jenn and Jonathon began posting together on social media.
“All good, I’m not holding a grudge,” he wrote in a Sept. 7 Instagram post accompanied by a TikTok of the two joking about how Jenn “broke [Jonathan’s] heart.”
The two have maintained they’re just friends, sharing a photo together from PEOPLE’s 50th birthday party’s red carpet on Sept. 13 with the song “Already Best Friends” by Jack Harlow in the background. “The song speaks for itself,” Jonathon wrote in the caption.
Jenn sent Jonathon home after the fantasy suites, when he admitted he took too long to share his feelings.
“I’ve never been good at validating my feelings — I think a lot of people struggle with validating their own feelings,” he told PEOPLE in August. “And I’ve found that on the show, especially with Jenn’s help. So I think, moving forward, I’m just going to be like, ‘Hey, do you love this person? Do you like this person? Are you sad? Are you happy? What do you want out of this?’ And just allowing for myself to feel whole.”
As for Jenn, she previously opened up to PEOPLE about joining DWTS, explaining that she can be shy at times.
“In my head I’m like, ‘Oh my God, I’m going to have to do this in front of a live audience and the whole world,’” she said. “And I feel like my biggest challenge this whole season is honestly just going to be me getting over my stage fright. I get so scared and nervous just being in front of a crowd. So that’ll be a big factor.”
“But other than that, honestly, I feel so excited to be able to throw myself into something that I’ve always wanted to do, and I’m happy, I’m excited,” she added. “It’s good to have something to be happy about.”
