Australia’s youngest-ever Olympic gold medallist is set to star in an upcoming Netflix documentary made by Hollywood royalty Reese Witherspoon.
Skateboarding star Arisa Trew, 14, flipped her way into the history books at the 2024 Paris Olympics when she claimed the Skateboard Park gold.
Her victory in Paris meant she is the youngest gold medallist in Australian Olympic history, shattering Sandra Morgan’s record that has stood for 68 years.
Swimming legend Morgan was 14 years and six months old when she won gold at the 1956 Melbourne Games, while Arisa was aged 14 years and three months.
Now, the Gold Coast teenager looks set to star in an upcoming Netflix documentary made by the Big Little Lies star’s production company.
Arisa and her best friend Jada Ward, 16, are said to have filmed the documentary in the United States, before she became the youngest Australian Olympic champion in history.
Jada’s father, Trevor Ward, has seemingly confirmed the documentary, which hasn’t yet been officially announced.
He told the Courier Mail that it’s expected to come out on Netflix in October.

He said it’s one of a number of exciting projects involving Arisa and Jada, including a children’s TV show.
‘They’re getting a lot of notoriety, those two,’ he told the publication.
The Daily Mail Australia has approached Arisa Trew’s management and Trevor Ward for comment.
In a press conference following her history-making gold medal win in Paris, 14-year-old Arisa told reporters her parents had promised her a pet duck if she won.
‘My parents definitely wouldn’t let me get a dog or a cat because we are travelling so much right now,’ she told Nine News.
‘But I feel like a duck might be a little bit easier, and… I don’t know, I just want a duck.’
The lauded young athlete also revealed why she turned down the reward of flying home to Australia from Paris in business class.
‘I mean, I could have been sitting in business with all the other medallists, but instead I chose to sit in economy with my two best friends, Chloe [Covell] and Ruby [Trew],’ she told Nova 100’s Jase & Lauren.
Jada (L) and Arisa (R) reportedly filmed the documentary in California last year while they also competed at the X Games

Meanwhile, Arisa and Jada both train at the Gold Coast’s Level Up skateboarding academy and competed together on a girl’s trip to Ventura, California for Tony Hawk’s Vert Alert skateboarding competition and the X Games in 2023.
Jada shared a series of fun photos with Arisa and other young skateboarders in California to her Instagram this time last year.
‘I had the best time !! @thvertalert was so much fun this year I placed 10th so I was first alternate for @xgames and it was so much fun practicing with the amazing girls,’ the 16-year-old captioned the post.
‘Thank you to everyone who supported me this trip !! Cant wait for next year.’
