AN asylum-seeker who has committed 19 crimes since arriving in the UK has won a court fight to stay in Britain — and the right to stay anonymous.

Now a judge has ruled that deporting him would go against the European Court of Human Rights, as he was at risk of torture and ill-treatment.

His offences include including robbery, burglary, possessing an offensive weapon and drugs offences.

He has spent time in prison thanks to a conviction for assaulting an emergency worker.

The judge further ruled that the thug must never be identified to preserve the privacy of his mental health issues.

Tory shadow Home Secretary Chris Philp told The Sun: “This dangerous repeat criminal should be kicked out.

“He is attacking and robbing British citizens and has no place in this country.

“Why do judges say his rights are more important than protecting the British public?

“We must end the ECHR which enables this madness and immediately deport all foreign criminals.”
