HOWARD COUNTY, Md. (DC News Now) — Howard County Fire and EMS said crews are evaluating multiple people who got sick after eating the same food on Monday afternoon.
Officials said crews responded to the 7700 block of Chesapeake Bay Court in Jessup because multiple people reported feeling sick, reportedly from food poisoning.
First responders said they are evaluating about 30 patients who reportedly ate the same food.
Multiple patients have been transported and are considered to be “non-critical,” according to Howard County Fire and EMS.
