ARLINGTON (DC News Now) — Don’t throw away your unused shoeboxes because the Animal Welfare League of Arlington (AWLA) wants them!
The AWLA is asking community members to donate their old shoe boxes, big, small and medium-sized.
The shoeboxes are used to “safely house and transport wild animals” at the AWLA to its Wildlife Resource Center.
Shoeboxes can be dropped off at the organization’s blue donation bin at the end of the facility’s parking lot during business hours.
