ARLINGTON, Va. (DC News Now) — If you’ll be “Home for the Holidays” then the Animal Welfare League of Arlington (AWLA) needs your help.
The shelter’s Home for the Holidays event is back with a twist. Due to some construction being done on the shelter’s facility, AWLA is looking for fosters for all its pets, especially its dogs, so they can get away from the noise and chaos.
From Dec. 7 to Dec. 23, potential fosters are asked to join the program by visiting the shelter and getting matched with a foster pet to look after until Jan. 12.
“It’s the perfect way to make the season brighter for a homeless pet—and bring some extra joy to your home, too!” the shelter stated on Facebook. “Whether you’re new to fostering or a seasoned pro, our team will help you find the perfect match.”
