Andrew Tate has doubled down on his comments about Ariana Grande after they were condemned as ‘sick’ and ‘disrespectful’.
The self-described misogynist influencer has received widespread backlash after sharing a crude post about the pop star’s appearance on X on Wednesday.
‘I’m sorry Ariana Grande you’re too skinny and I would no longer f**k you. Access denied,’ the post read.
Taking another swipe at the singer today, he sarcastically commented: ‘I’ve decided not to pursue a relationship with Ariana at this moment in time, I hope she understands.’
Campaigners have hit out at Tate’s comments, calling them ‘vile’ and ‘dangerous’ and urging social media companies to take action.
Tate, along with his brother Tristan, was arrested in Romania in 2022 on suspicion of human trafficking, rape and creating a criminal gang to sexually exploit women.
It comes as the social media personality has experienced a wave of support in recent months after receiving endorsement from members of Donald Trump‘s inner circle.
The Trump administration has reportedly made multiple attempts to pressure Romanian authorities to lift travel restrictions on the Tate brothers as they face criminal charges in the country.
An advocate of Trump who once described him as ‘the best president in history’, Tate suggested after the 2024 election that his case in Romania would now be dismissed, telling his followers to ‘watch this space’.

Tate has amassed a million new followers on X in recent months – shooting up from 9.7 million in August last year to 10.7 million now.
He and his brother are one of the most famous examples of the ‘manosphere’ section of social media, which promotes male superiority and rejects feminism and ‘woke‘ ideas, and is labelled as toxic by many critics.
Tristan Tate previously boasted that the brothers had played a role in the US election, claiming in November that ‘millions of young men in Europe and the USA have a healthy rightwing approach to politics that they would NOT have if Andrew Tate had never appeared on their phone screens’.
Trump envoy Richard Grenell said in response to questions about US ‘pressuring’ Romanian officials over the Tates that while he had not had a ‘substantive’ conversation with his Romanian counterpart, ‘I support the Tate brothers as evident by my publicly available tweets.’
Romanian foreign minister Emil Hurezeanu confirmed that Grenell raised the case concerning the Tates with him, adding the envoy had said he was ‘interested in the fate of the brothers’.
But he insisted that this was not the same as pressure from the Trump administration, stating that Romania’s ‘courts are independent and operate based on the law.’
The brothers have said that they ‘remain fully dedicated to working alongside their legal team to explore every legal avenue available within the framework of Romania’s judicial system.
‘Their sole focus is on ensuring that due process is followed and that their innocence is established in a court of law.’
Right-wing commentators and supporters of the Tates have sought to cast doubt on the cases against them for years.
Andrew Tate is no stranger to controversy and his comments on Ariana Grande are just the latest to spark outcry.

He went on to leave another comment underneath a recent social media photo of Grande, writing that she ‘looks like a crack h*e’

Fans called out Tate for the ‘sick’ comment, with one asking, ‘why do men think it’s ok to comment on women’s bodies?’

Critics have slammed him online, with one asking, ‘Why do men think it’s ok to comment on women’s bodies?’
Tom Quinn, a director at the eating disorder charity Beat, told MailOnline in a statement: ‘We are disgusted by Andrew Tate’s vile criticism of Ariana Grande’s body.
‘Commenting on a person’s appearance is never acceptable – while nasty remarks alone would never be the sole and direct cause of an eating disorder, they can make existing eating disorders worse and disrupt recovery.
‘We don’t know anything about Ariana Grande’s health – but what we do know is that huge numbers of vulnerable young women will have seen his tweet, and could therefore be at increased risk of harm because of it.’
Criticising how social media platforms deal with comments like Tates, Quinn added: ‘There is already an abundance of dangerous material online, and there’s no excuse for adding to it.
‘We know from those we support that social media can be an incredible tool for recovery, but comments like these make the internet a more dangerous place for them.
‘We urge social media platforms to take action against those peddling this kind of harmful rhetoric and signpost those who are unwell to quality support.’
X users shared their outrage at Tate’s comments, with one labelling the post: ‘the most disrespectful and disgusting tweet I’ve seen today,’ and asking ‘how the f**k are people like this still on this app? Absolutely ridiculous.’

Andrew and his brother Tristan, who are joint US and UK nationals, were arrested in Romania in 2022 on charges of human trafficking, sexual misconduct, money laundering and forming an organized crime group. They have denied any wrongdoing; seen in 2025

Last week, Matthew Jury, a lawyer representing four alleged victims of Andrew Tate said Tate’s accusers were ‘distraught’ over US officials having a call with the influencer
‘Dude, you are gross,’ someone else said in response to the comments. ‘She’s more famous than you, has more money, more success, has an amazing reputation, and hasn’t been to jail.’
Another person added, ‘Imagine thinking you had the access to deny in the first place. Ariana Grande wasn’t at the door, mate, she was on a private jet flying over it.’
‘Access denied??? nobody asked for it in the first place,’ someone else chimed in.
‘Oh good PLEASE don’t go near her she wouldn’t touch you with a 10 foot pole bud.’
It comes after a new image of Ariana published on social media earlier this week sparked health concerns among her fans.
Signing autographs at the BAFTA Film Awards, the Oscar-nominated star displayed an noticeably slim figure.
‘I just hope she’s okay because I certainly would not be if I were in her shoes and everyone felt so d*** entitled to talk about my body all the time,’ one social media user posted to Reddit — the website where the image, which has now been deleted, was posted.

Andrew and his brother Tristan, who are joint US and UK nationals, were arrested in Romania in 2022 on charges of human trafficking, sexual misconduct, money laundering and forming an organized crime group. They have denied any wrongdoing.
The alleged crimes date between 2014 and 2024. The Tates deny all the charges against them.
They are also facing a civil case in the UK from four women who have alleged rape and coercive control between 2013 and 2016.
A court in Bucharest has ruled that they can be extradited to Britain once a final decision is reached in their case in Romania.
The brothers’ movements have been restricted since their 2022 arrest – spending three months in police detention, before being put under house arrest and then being prevented from leaving the country.
Tate has repeatedly claimed that prosecutors in Romania have no evidence against him and that there is a political conspiracy to silence him.
The brothers said in a written statement that they ‘remain fully dedicated to working alongside their legal team to explore every legal avenue available within the framework of Romania’s judicial system.
‘Their sole focus is on ensuring that due process is followed and that their innocence is established in a court of law.’
Last week, the alleged victims of sexual violence by Andrew were left ‘absolutely distraught’ after hearing that Trump‘s officials are lobbying to lift travel restrictions against the social media influencer.
Officials close to Trump’s administration have urged Romanian authorities to allow the brothers to travel during the ongoing proceedings.
Matthew Jury, a lawyer representing four alleged victims of Andrew Tate, told BBC Newsnight the victims were ‘distraught’ at hearing the news.

He said: ‘They are absolutely distraught, if you can imagine these are women who are victims of the most horrible and horrific alleged crimes. To see the most powerful man in the world support their alleged abuser is incredibly traumatising.
‘They are absolutely bewildered as to why the Trump administration has decided to interfere in this way.’
The brother’s case was reportedly brought up by US officials in a phone call with the Romanian government last week.
A source told the Financial Times that officials asked for passports to be returned to the Tate brothers.
Emil Hurezeanu confirmed the Tate brothers’ case had been raised in a call from the US.
Mr Jury added: ‘The message needs to be very clearly communicated that the criminal proceedings in Romania and in the UK should be allowed to take place and run their course in an ordinary fashion without interference. This is not politics, this is about due process and a fair trial
‘The Romanian Prime Minister has said the Americans have not demanded or requested anything, but we know
‘We know there is a great deal of support for Tate, I’m not clear as to why that is.’

Donald Trump’s officials allegedly mentioned the case against the Tate brothers in a call with the Romanian government

Speaking on BBC Newsnight, Matthew Jury said he does not understand the US support for Andrew Tate
He added: ‘Either they don’t know or don’t care about the nature of the allegations and how serious they are.
‘These are the most serious allegations of human trafficking, rape, serial rape, the trafficking of minors and the rape of a 15-year-old girl. It doesn’t get more serious than that.
‘To see the Trump administration lobbying for this man’s release, interfering with due process in Romania, but worse interfering with due process in the UK.’
Tate moved to Romania after first starting a webcam business in the UK.
In 2016, Tate appeared on ‘Big Brother’ in Britain but was removed after a video emerged showing him attacking a woman.
He then turned to social media platforms to promote his divisive views.
