EXCLUSIVE: Veteran Hollywood agent and producer Alan Greenspan (Fever Pitch) is launching Munich and London-based management and production firm Bridge MP.

Greenspan, a longtime ICM packaging agent and partner at UK production company 6 Degree Media, was a producer on Colin Firth starrer Fever Pitch and an executive producer on movies including High Fidelity and Donnie Brasco and Fox TV show Deep State, starring Mark Strong.

The Munich-based vet, an English and German speaker, is teaming on Bridge with London-based Tom De Gols who has spent the past twenty years in investment banking as an attorney with JP Morgan and Goldman Sachs.

Greenspan will be Chief Executive Officer, Chief Content Officer and manager working most closely with Bridge’s clients. De Gols will act as the company’s Chief Operating Officer and General Counsel. Both will be at the European Film Market in Berlin next week.

Bridge’s initial roster of international writers, directors and actors includes Daniel Hendler (Unorthodox), Barbara Stepansky (Outlander), Jasmina Kuhnke (Euphorie), Adam Cohen (As Told by Ginger), Alice Gruia (Lu Von Loser), Korbinian Hamberger (Krank Berlin), Dustin Loose (The Policeman’s Niece), and Dan Vyleta (novel Smoke).

The company’s development slate, made up of client and third-party projects, includes limited series King Of Schmooze, exploring how the Airbus scandal in the 1980’s affected the Canadian and German governments; Goalie, about an ageing NHL star who must relocate to play for Germany’s worst professional hockey team; Hamburg Ranger, in which an American cop brings his unconventional style of law enforcement to the German city; hybrid sitcom and game show Bob’s Your Uncle; limited series Bolshol Kapital, about the wild west of post Soviet capitalism in Russia; feature horror The Under about a Macau casino hiding a nightmarish underground labyrinth; feature Beast Of England, about English occultist Aleister Crowley; movie Afro Deutsch, about a young Black boy in 1936 Nazi Germany; and psychological thriller film Memento Mori.

Greenspan said: “I’ve gone back to my roots as a representative of talent, while continuing to develop and produce content with Bridge’s clients, as well as other creatives and potential partners. There are both established and emerging voices we hope to work with. I’m excited about shifting tides in the content creation and distribution business and the opportunities they present.”

De Gols added: “It has taken me 20 odd years to get back to my passion of film and TV but the opportunity to work with Alan was too good to pass on. Being able to use my legal, language and deal making skills to the fullest is extremely satisfying and I feel reborn in this new chapter of my career. We view this as an opportunity to work with creative on both sides of the Atlantic, as well as Australia and Asian-Pacific regions.”
