A MIGRANT sexually assaulted a woman who fell asleep while eating pizza after a night out.
Afghan Abid Sherzad, 25, struck after buying her the takeaway meal.
His victim, in her 20s, told a court that she fell asleep on a bench near London Bridge station.
She said she woke up to find Sherzad touching her intimately and said: “I didn’t give him any impression that I was consenting whatsoever.”
A passer-by filmed him trying to cover his face with a pizza box.
Sherzad, who arrived in the UK nine months before the attack in June, was arrested at his taxpayer-funded hotel in Oxford in October.
He was found guilty of sexual assault at Croydon magistrates’ court.
Sherzad is in custody to be sentenced at a later date at Inner London crown court.
He had claimed his life was endangered in Afghanistan as his father was working for the government.
