Adolescence is still going strong on Netflix, soaring to fourth place on the streamer’s Most Popular English TV list in the past week, up from No. 9 where it debuted on the rankings last week.
Racking up another 17.8M views from March 31 to April 6, the limited series doesn’t appear to be losing much steam, even a month after release. As it stands now, it’s already surpassed every season of Bridgerton, Season 1 of The Night Agent and Season 3 of Stranger Things — and it still has 65 days in its premiere window to keep going.
It’s fairly inevitable that, by next week, Adolescence will have also surpassed DAHMER: Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story, since the former has already amassed 114.5M views in total since its March 13 release. Currently in third place, Dahmer has 115.6M. At this rate, it’s also likely that the series will eventially shoot past Stranger Things 4, which has 140.7M views, to claim second place.
Documentary series Gone Girls: The Long Island Serial Killer came in second place on the weekly list with 13M views in its debut week, while Carlton Cuse’s new medical drama Pulse had a bit of an underwhelming start with 6.5M views in its premiere weekend.
The Residence also appears to be struggling to break through the noise, coming in fifth place this week with 4.6M views, which is just over half the audience it had the week prior.
Over on the film side of things Sofia Carson’s latest Netflix film The Life List managed 29.2M views, putting it in first place for the second week in a row. Back in Action continues to rise on the Most Popular English Films list with 144.6M views in total, pushing it to sixth place.
